Together has promoted Tanya Elmaz to the newly-created role of managing director of intermediary sales.    

The specialist lender says Elmaz will oversee all broker relations, including clubs and networks, roving underwriters and introducing brokers to the business. 

She will also have an “upweighted role in managing broker and intermediary relationships,” the firm adds, following the announcement that chief executive of sales and distribution Marc Goldberg will retire in December 2026. Elmaz will lead a 47-strong team. 

The move demonstrates the lender’s “commitment to expanding intermediary partnerships,” it says.

She moves from her former post as director of intermediary sales, which she held for almost three years, where she recently oversaw the launch of a new club and network channel.   

During that time, the firm says Elmaz expanded its intermediary panel to drive a 32% increase in annual sales on last year totalling £1.6bn.  

Elmaz joined the lender almost a decade ago. 

She reports to chief commercial officer Ryan Etchells in her new role.
