The Mortgage Lender (TML) has appointed Chris Kirby as head of specialist distribution and key accounts. 

Kirby, who has more than 10 years of experience in the mortgage industry, joins TML from Kensington Mortgages where he most recently worked as key account manager. 

After starting his career at the Coventry Building Society, Kirby later joined Fleet Mortgages as business development manager. 

In his new role at TML, Kirby will focus on overseeing specialist distributors and working closely with broker partners, such as those within the new build and buy to let sector. 

He will also build and manage key relationships, as well as increase intermediary partners’ engagement with TML’s product range. 

Commenting on Kirby’s appointment, TML sales director Steve Griffiths says: “With a strong background in specialist lending and an excellent reputation in our sector, Kirby will be a valuable addition to the team at TML.”
