Looks like we have rain in the forecast for today. Here are fun things for you and your family to do on rainy days in the Palm Beach County.

Visit the Surfing Museum. Florida has more coastline than California. The Palm Beaches have forty-seven miles of coastline alone and a rich surfing history dating back one hundred years. This museum gives you a glimpse of the boards, the beaches and the surfers that put Florida on the surfing map. Expect a close-up look at rare surfboards, thousands of photos, and hundreds of artifacts. Chances are good you will meet the local pioneers of the sport during the visit.

While movie theaters are not unique to the Palm Beaches, Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas is. Cinépolis has large reclining chairs, in-theater food service, drinks, and everything else you could want.

The Silverball Museum, do not let the word “museum” fool you is where you are not only encouraged to touch, but you are also encouraged to play! Featuring more than 150 video games and pinball machines dating as far back as the 1930s, this museum brings a bit of nostalgia to visitors, evoking childhood memories for adults while creating new memories for newer generations. The 9,000-square-foot museum offers classic video games such as Ms. Pac-Man, two floors of pinball machines, arcade games and even the original skeeball alleys from New York’s Coney Island – Eldorado Arcade

The growing popularity of escape rooms is well-deserved, with players of all ages working together to find a way out of a “locked” room before time runs out. There are several themes and locations to pick from in The Palm Beaches. Try Time Travel Escapes – Escape Rooms in Jupiter.
