This summer, the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center is hosting a virtual summer camp for kids interested in nature and science.

The summer camp consists of five sessions once a week and campers will get a chance to create activities through their interactive camp sessions. The campers must have access to a computer of mobile device and most of the activities will take place outside in your own backyard.

The sessions include topics such as conservation, cool science facts, and South Florida’s eco-system. Those who register for the virtual camp will receive a camp box filled with supplies for crafts, exploration, and activities.

The camp dates will be based on grade level each child will be entering in the fall.

1^st- 2^nd Grade: Every Monday: July 6^th, 13^th, 20^th, 27^th and August 3^rd from 10 am to 1 pm.

3^rd – 4^th Grade:  Every Tuesday: July 7^th, 14^th, 21^st, 28^th, and August 4^th from 10 am to 1 pm.

5^th- 6^th Grade: Every Wednesday: July 8^th, 15^th, 22^nd, 29^th, and August 5^th from 10 am to 1 pm.

7^th- 9^th Grade: Every Thursday: July 9^th, 16^th, 23^rd, 30^th, and August 6^th from 10 am to 1 pm.

Family Camp: Every Friday: July 10^th, 17^th, 24^th, 31^st, and August 7^th. Time to be determined. Family Camp aims to get your entire family outdoors to create special crafts and projects. Family Camp is available to all those who register for the Virtual Camp. Family Camp is optional.
