Aspen Bridging has appointed Stephen Hickman as its senior risk assessor and Kyle Taylor as recoveries manager as the specialist lender continues to expand its team.
Both have been hired from One Savings Bank where they worked for over a decade, most recently in its bridging department.
Hickman was previously a senior specialist underwriter for the bank, while Taylor was its senior bridging recoveries manager.
In his new role, Hickman will be responsible for reviewing applications as part of the firm’s risk function and assessing cases from the application stage through to the loan completion.
Taylor will manage the recoveries function, using his experience to ensure Aspen’s processes are up-to-date and bring results.
These latest appointments are part of Aspen’s growth plan, as looks to increase its current £500m lending to £1bn within “the next few years”.
It has made several senior appointments this year, hiring Ian Miller-Hawes as its new sales director and Mike Allen as business development manager, on top of promotions across its risk, underwriting and credit teams.
Aspen Bridging managing director Jack Coombs says: “The appointments, promotions and changes we’ve made this year will have a significant positive impact on our growth trajectory.”
