The Cambridge is now offering expat mortgage products again.

Available at 75% LTV, the lender is offering mortgages on a two-year discount, which has an initial rate of 4.89% and a five-year fix, set at 6.09%.

The minimum loan amount is £75,000 and the maximum £750,000.

Applicants require a minimum employed income of £25,000, possess a UK bank account and have a UK based correspondence address.

The Cambridge intermediary manager Kathy Bowes says: “There are few lenders offering mortgages to this group, so we want to ensure we are here to help and to make products available to a broad range of customers.”

Earlier this month, on 9 January, the building society launched two interest-only mortgages – a fix and a discount – with these loans available for up to 40 years.
