Norton Home Loans has promoted Jake Stringer to become a telephone business development manager, boosting its intermediary support.
The specialist lender says Stringer will be a dedicated point of contact for brokers, providing case updates, guidance on criteria, and help navigating complex scenarios.
It adds that “his background in underwriting gives him a strong technical understanding of Norton’s proposition, making him well placed to support brokers with getting cases over the line”.
Stringer has had three roles in the business, which he began working for in October 2022, starting in administration, moving into underwriting and now stepping into his new post, which he took up last month.
Norton Home Loans head of sales David Binney says: “Jake’s progression through the business is a great example of the value of internal development.
“He’s grown his knowledge of both the operational and lending sides of Norton and now brings that experience into a role that’s all about relationships.”
Stringer adds: “I’ve been lucky to gain experience across different teams at Norton, and that’s given me a real understanding of what matters to brokers and underwriters alike.”
