The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum is celebrating its 160th Anniversary this year and you can help support the Jupiter Lighthouse by participating in their event Step Up For The Light. The virtual event is currently ongoing until November 15th.
The event is a chance for the public to help the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum that has been financially affected during this past year. The Lighthouse is currently open for daily tours and events, and Step Up For The Light is a way the public can help.
The Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse is an icon to the Town of Jupiter and climbing to the top is just one of the most popular and fun things to do in Jupiter to see the incredible views. The Step Up For The Light initiative is a way for the public to virtually adopt one of the 105 historic steps for one year which can be adopted online. Purchasers will receive a certificate for their adoption of a step, a limited-edition print of the Lighthouse, and your name will be placed on the lighthouse’s website under your step number. The cost to adopt a step is $105 dollars.
The lighthouse is also offering three kits, “Keeper’s Night Off”, “Lighthouse Keeper’s Breakfast”, and “Young Keepers Kit”, all packed with unique goodies and items.
The gifts can be purchased online through November 15th and can be picked up curbside at the Museum from 2 pm to 6 pm starting November 19th.
