The West Palm Brewery & Wine Vault, just two streets over from Clematis, is a place for beer and wine connoisseurs to enjoy in-house fermented beer, wine, and delicious food.
The whole concept of this brewery is based on interaction. You can see the sealed fermentation tanks in the room behind the bartenders and you'll also notice chefs making food cooked to order from their original menu of small plates. This bar food isn't second-rate that's for sure; it's raved over by customers, as you can see from these Yelp reviews. The menu includes small pizzas, Charcuterie boards, Bavarian pretzels, sliders, wings and more.
On the interior, the brewery has a modern industrial style with high top barrel-base tables, dropdown lighting fixtures, and stone accent walls. There are TVs inside and patio umbrella seating outdoors with games like cornhole and live music on the weekends.
As for the most important part of the brewery: the beer- it's nothing short of what you'd hope for. Their house B4 Blonde is light, crisp and refreshing; Yelp reviewers highly recommend it as well as the Palm Beach Porter, Mermaid IPA, Razz B4 and the 561 Hefeweizen. Their beers are $6 and they also serve "guest beers," which rotate seasonally from other local and non-local breweries.
The vault's wines are limited-production premium Cabernets and other reds along with a few whites. They also carry hand-selected, top-drawer wines like the Drum Cellars Canyon line- whites from the hills of Santa Barbara. There are currently 21 wines in the vault with 6 more to come but since they're limited-production, once they're gone, they're gone.
The West Palm Brewery & Wine Vault draws a nice crowd on the weekends and during the week for happy hour, too. It's definitely a place you should try if you haven't been; bring your friends or make it a date, either way you'll be happy you checked this spot out.
