Palm Beach County and South Florida fisherman catch more than 84 percent of the nation's supply of grouper, pompano, mullet, stone crab, pink shrimp, spiny lobsters, and Spanish mackerel. Seafood is sustainable when the population of that species of fish is managed correctly. There are delightful and tasty seafood eateries in the area.

Three of local’s top favorites are:

Little Moir’s Food Shack:

Known to locals as simply “The Food Shack,” this unassuming and artsy little place is heavily patronized and popular. The place is decorated with tropical art and mounted game fish. The Food Shack features an extensive list of daily specials like panko fried oysters, spicy tuna ceviche and catch of the day.  Located at 103 U.S. 1 D3, Jupiter, FL 33477

Hog Snappers:

Decorated in intimate island décor, Hog Snappers sets the mood with Caribbean art and reggae music. An expansive menu of island-style seafood dishes, as well as sushi, are available. Try the ceviche with a cold draft beer. The place has a pleasing beach vibe, without getting sand in your shoes.  Located at 279 US-1, Tequesta, FL 33469

The "Seafood Bar" at The Breakers Resort:

Located within the iconic Breakers Palm Beach is the Seafood Bar, the seafood bar truly deserves its reputation as an unforgettable dining experience.
