Prime Financial Solutions and Mortgages has merged with Yumo Finance to bring their property and business finance services under one roof.

The two Welsh firms will retain both brands, with Prime Financial Solutions and Mortgages focussing purely on the property side, covering residential mortgages, buy-to-let, bridging, commercial loans and insurance.

Yumo Finance will cover business loans, invoice finance, asset finance, merchant loan services, VAT loans, import and export finance, and overdrafts.

Gareth Morgan of Prime and Mark Watts of Yumo are joint partners of the newly-combined business, which is based near Swansea.

Morgan has 15-years’ experience in the residential mortgage advice sector and is also a property investor and mentor.

Watts has specialised in commercial lending for the majority of his career, which includes 17 years with HSBC.

Morgan says: “By merging our strengths, we are not only enhancing our ability to meet the diverse financial needs of our clients but also setting the stage for accelerated expansion.

He says the business is investing in new technology and recruiting additional advisers to improve the client experience.
