OSB Group has opened a new energy-efficient office in Wolverhampton.

The new building at Exchange Court replaces the use of two smaller offices and brings together 364 colleagues working across underwriting, sales and servicing.

The lender has committed to achieving net zero by 2030 and the new building will help it to achieve this through a number of features.

It will reduce carbon emissions with an efficient heating and cooling system.

It has a smart building management system, LED lighting and upgraded ventilation.

Reclaimed materials have been used in its worktops, carpets and its acoustic panels have been made from recycled plastic bottles.

Staff facilities include a multi-faith room, wellbeing centre and informal meeting areas.

OSB chief executive Andy Golding says:  “We’re delighted to welcome colleagues to their new office space, some of whom have been actively involved throughout the project.

“These colleagues have helped to create an engaging working environment suiting their differing requirements as well as encouraging collaboration and creativity.

“Our teams supporting brokers and their customers throughout the financing journey, will now be under the same roof making it easier to discuss cases and promote a joined-up servicing approach which further strengthens our commitment and support to our broker partners.”
