The Open Property Data Association (OPDA) has appointed PEXA to its executive committee.

OPDA says PEXA ‘bring a commitment to data quality, security, and interoperability’ which ‘aligns perfectly’ with its mission to promote open data principles,

OPDA chair Maria Harris adds: “Having PEXA join our executive committee is great news for the industry and a reflection of our commitment to unlock the potential of property data through openness and collaboration.

“Krystle brings a wealth of experience of creating standardised data formats, fostering data sharing, and driving innovation – everything we need to benefit our entire property ecosystem.

PEXA chief product and experience officer Krystle Kocik says: “I am delighted to represent PEXA and join OPDA as an exec member.

“With a shared vision on improving the way people buy, sell and remortgage homes, it’s through industry collaboration and drive that we will collectively transform the experience for everyone.”

Kocik joined PEXA over 10 years ago and worked with the Australian property industry to design and build the completion platform that transformed the way property settles today.

With over 88% of Australian property transactions completing through PEXA, she takes the industry and platform learnings with her to the UK.
