Okeeheelee Park is a natural preserve, just west of Palm Beach, which has miles of biking, running and hiking trails spanning across 90 acres of woods and wetlands.

Okeeheelee is the perfect park for getting active, for relaxing or for just hanging out and enjoying the wonderful South Florida weather. The quiet parklands are home to many species of indigenous wildlife, flora, birds and butterflies.  Furry friends on leases are permitted at Okeeheelee Park.  They have a dog park, as well as an equestrian center.  In addition to the paths at Okeeheelee Park, find boat ramps, baseball and softball fields, tennis courts, a playground, a nature center and a golf course. The multifaceted park offers free parking, restrooms and picnic areas with grills and tables.

Golf

For you sportsmen and women, nearby the park is the public Okeeheelee Golf Course which Offers 27 holes of championship golf in a pristine, quiet, park setting, Okeeheelee Golf Course has offered quality golf to Palm Beach County for more than 20 years.

The course is set up in three nine-hole courses that can be played in multiple 18-hole combinations, providing the potential for a different golf experience on each visit to the facility. Every hole features five sets of tees, so all skill levels will feel comfortable playing at Okeeheelee.

The Nature Center

The Okeeheelee Nature Center is a little museum of natural Florida. There are aquariums and displays, with many reptiles including; turtles, snakes, and alligators. There's a wooden boardwalk/porch that encircles the center, and the whole center is wheelchair-accessible. Nearly three miles of trails run through the adjacent 90 acres of woods, past native flora, and fauna.

Shark Wake Aqua Park

The Shark Wake Aqua Park in Okeeheelee Park opened for business earlier this year. The inflatable, floating obstacle course, which was built and operated by a company owned by golfing great Greg Norman, made its debut on Saturday.

Wake Park offers cable wakeboarding, waterskiing, wakeskiing, and kneeboarding as well as a pro shop, food, and drinks concessions and showers.
