Get ready for the Tequesta Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, November 12, 2022, between 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM. The 10th Annual Chili Cook-Off and Beer Tasting Event is a huge celebration for the veterans who volunteered their service to protect the United States! There are 32 chili teams participating.  The teams represent public safety, military, and private organizations.  The chili teams will compete to win the prize for the best chili and bragging rights!  

The day is action-packed, proud to be an American tribute to our veterans. This is wonderful over 21, clear bag event located at One Main Street,  Tequesta.  The afternoon is jam-packed with live music, pipes and drums, an award ceremony for the honored guests, military flyovers, craft beer and wine, and over 32 chili-making teams from public safety, the military, and the private sector competing for the best chili.

The chili is judged by local celebrity judges including mayors, restaurant owners, and television and sports personalities. There is also a people’s choice award voted on by all the attendees.

Warriors Renewal Coalition:

A Jupiter-based charitable organization that holds cost-free retreats for wounded military personnel and their families.

Operation 300:

A non-profit that hosts adventure camps for children who have lost a parent in military service.

Southeast Florida Honor Flight:

An organization that sends veterans to Washington DC to see their war memorials.

Tequesta Friends of Public Safety, Inc.:

A 501 (c)(3) corporation was established to support the members of the Tequesta Fire-Rescue and Police Departments.

Wounded Veterans Relief Fund:

A non-profit that exists to provide emergency financial support to qualified disabled veterans living in Florida.
