Be Mindful of Colorful Jupiter and Tequesta

Ever wonder how many shades of color can be seen in the waterways, skies, or preserves of Jupiter and Tequesta? I have no idea either, but you can attempt to keep a count of the various shades with a libation in hand at one of the local waterfront eateries. Be intentional and mindful of the colors you perceive in nature.

With water in varying blue shades of the Caribbean Sea, shell-filled beaches, a chill relaxed vibe from the 6.2 miles of Atlantic coastline there are more shades than can be mentioned. The blue color of ocean water is an inherent property caused by the selective absorption and scattering of white light. When sunlight shines on the sea, all the colors of the rainbow permeate the water.

In a tropical paradise such as here, nothing is more befitting than an open gaze with a shimmering water vista to kickback.  Watch the day slide into the night with a drink in your hand. The color of the sky is a representation of the average color of clouds when the sunlight from a sunset is reflected from them. Watch the sunset light up the sky in bright blues, pinks, purples, and oranges as it sets in the west.

This area has miles upon miles of waterways to choose from and the colors of nature are abundant. The green colors found within the nature preserves are varying as well, from the darkest of greens on swaying palm trees to the light frosted greens of a palmetto palm.  These variations of greens are a grounding life force that inspires tranquility.

Foster a greater awareness of your natural surroundings. Consider how your senses help you relate to your environment, in both remarkable and modest ways. Slow down and appreciate life, this area is bountiful with color.
