Haysto has appointed Jonny Magill as chief commercial officer at the specialist digital broker platform.
The firm, launched in 2021, says he will provide “significant operational and commercial oversight” as the business looks to continue its growth.
Magill was a member of the board that led Strike Financial Services takeover of Purplebricks in June 2023, which then saw him take up the role of chief sales officer at the online estate agent and mortgage business.
During his time at the enlarged company, he increased average revenue per head by 50% and played a key role in integrating the 800-strong workforce of the two firms, with a new operational model in three months.
Haysto co-founder and chief executive Jonny Moulton says: “With the backing of a new large strategic investor, we’re set to see significant growth over the next 12 months.
“Jonny’s experience in scaling early-stage companies, including the acquisition of Purplebricks, brings the relevant background, expertise, and a few hard-earned scars to help us take Haysto to the next stage.”
Magill adds: “The business [Haysto] has already taken huge steps since it was first established, and I firmly believe we can build so much more, helping people at some of the most important stages in their lives.”
