Jane Benjamin has joined Connect for Intermediaries as director, mortgages.

A well-known figure in the mortgage industry, Benjamin was most recently head of intermediary acquisitions at Mortgage Brain, a role she took up in March this year, having previously held the role of director, mortgages at Sesame Bankhall Group.

Benjamin has also held roles at PMS Mortgage Club, LSL Property Services and Santander.

Connect operates under two brands, Connect Mortgages and Connect for Intermediaries, and chief executive Liz Syms says the firm is gearing up for accelerated growth in 2022 and beyond.

Syms says: “I believe we have been successful in growing our network of advisers, our consumer proposition and our packaging and distribution arm because of our diverse and flexible proposition.
