The weekend is only a few days away and this week is the start of the Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, Georgia. Golf is one of the most popular outdoor activities not just in the state of Florida but also in Palm Beach County. The county is home to more than 160 golf courses both private and public and the area has earned the title of “Florida’s Golf Capital”.

While playing golf requires some skill, the area is also home to great miniature courses for everyone to play and enjoy the game. According to The Weather Channel, the weather this weekend is supposed to be sunny and in the 80’s which makes a perfect day to get out and enjoy the local miniature golf courses for a day of fun.

Miniature Golf Course To Try:

The 76 Golf World Family Fun Center in Stuart not only includes a mini golf course but also go-karting, batting cages, an arcade, snack bars, bumper cars, zip lining, and more. The World Family Center has two 18-hole mini golf courses; one is called Rocky River and the other is called Eagle’s Nest. Rocky River course is more challenging with a flatter terrain while Eagle’s Nest includes waterfalls, caves and is known to be easier.

Adventure Mini Golf in Lake Worth Beach features two 18-hole mini golf courses both with an intermediate and an advanced skill level course for every mini golfer in the family.

The Conservation Course at the South Florida Science Center is an 18-hole course designed by Gary Niklaus and Jim Fazio. The Conservation Course follows the Center’s Mission to “open every mind to science” and aims to educate golfers about natural habitats, and every hole is named after an animal or indigenous plant to South Florida.

Lighthouse Cove Adventure Golf Abacoa, the newest and second location of Lighthouse Adventure Golf is located within Jupiter’s Abacoa neighborhood. The 18-hole course features difficult slopes and terrain, water hazards, caves, rocks, and more than make each shot difficult. An Ice Cream Shop is also on location for a snack or visit one of Downtown Abacoa is also home to numerous restaurants while you are in the area.

Lighthouse Cove Adventure Golf, located within the Jupiter Inlet, the mini golf course features a two courses, Lost Lagoon and Paradise Falls. Both courses have 18 holes each with water hazards, challenging terrain, tropical aquariums, caves, and objects that make it difficult to get a hole in one. This location features The Burger Shack and 3 Scoops Ice Cream Shop to stop by and grab something to eat before or after playing golf.
