Aldermore says that Nicola Goldie has joined the bank’s property division as head of strategic partnerships and growth.

It says her role includes driving the expansion of the firm’s intermediary channel ambitions “through joining up strategic and tactical objectives across the lender’s distribution partnerships”.

The business adds that she will be tasked with growing its market reach “through a sustainable engagement programme with intermediary partners, elevating Aldermore’s share of voice in the industry, and leading her team to deliver best-in-class support for the bank’s network of intermediaries”.

Goldie joins from Virgin Money where she worked for seven years, leaving as head of national accounts.

Prior to that she also worked for seven years for Lloyds Banking Group, leaving as national account manager for intermediaries in 2016.

Aldermore head of mortgages Jon Cooper says: “Nicola is a first-class hire and someone who will be influential in supporting our ambition to grow.

“She fits into the business on a cultural level, while also bringing such significant expertise.”

Aldermore’s Goldie adds: “I’m looking forward to being a driving force in supporting the bank to succeed, as it offers an even more compelling service for brokers and their clients in the years ahead.”

Goldie will also continue her role as a director of the Intermediary Mortgage Lenders Association.
