Perenna has hired two senior account managers as the lender prepares to launch its 20- to 30-year fixed-rate mortgages later this year.
The startup says its managers, will join its intermediary team, are Tim Sorrell, who will cover the South, and Deborah Reeves, who will cover the North.
Sorrell most recently was a mortgage broker at Charles Cameron and Associates, and also worked for 15 years at Barclays in a variety of roles, leaving as senior intermediary relationship manager last March.
Reeves joins from The Nottingham where she spent six-and-a-half years, including five years as national sales manager.
Prior to that, she worked for Skipton Building Society for two years, leaving as a key relationship manager in 2017.
The new lender plans to offer a range of residential lending products through selected brokers, aimed at first-time buyers, second steppers and later life homeowners.
Perenna head of product, proposition, & distribution John Davison says: “We are launching a new kind of mortgage, offering true long-term security, and flexibility for homeowners.
“Having passionate and dedicated national account managers to help train and support our brokers is a cornerstone of our ambition to create a nation of happy homeowners.
“Deb and Tim bring a wealth of experience and knowledge with them, and we cannot wait to get them out on the road speaking to brokers about how our products can make life easier for their customers.”
Last week, the business revealed it had secured its banking licence from the Prudential Regulation Authority and Financial Conduct Authority.
