Generation Home cuts rates on two-year fixes | Mortgage Strategy

Generation Home has further reduced the rates on its two-year fixed mortgages today (21 October) with fees, by up to 24 basis points (bps).

The two-year fixed at 75% loan-to-value (LTV) and below with a fee of £999 will be reduced by 23 basis points to 5.60%. 

The two-year fixed rate at 80% LTV with a fee of £999 will be reduced by 13 basis points to 5.75%.

The 85% LTV with a fee of £999 will be cut by five basis points to 5.88% while the 90% LTV with a fee of £999 will decrease by six basis points to 5.93%.

Generation Home commercial director Pete Dockar says: “We’re delighted that we can continue to lower our rates, and help aspiring first-time buyers and home movers onto and up the property ladder.”

Last week, Generation Home introduced two-year fixed-rate mortgage products and reduced rates across its five-year fixes.
