The Right Mortgage & Protection Network has hired Keith White as its regulatory trainer.
White’s role covers delivering the network’s training courses, identifying new areas to address, creating course material and monitoring the overall programme.
He reports to head of regulatory training Aidan McCarthy for the network founded in 2015, which contains over 800 member firms.
White joins from the Mortgage Advice Bureau where he was a learning and development consultant.
He has over 18 years of experience in the sector and has worked as a consultant at the Financial Ombudsman Service.
Prior to that, he worked as a mortgage adviser and a variety of other sales roles at NatWest.
McCarthy says: “He [White] comes with a vast array of experience in this area from bigger mortgage advice firms, to the Ombudsman itself, so he is acutely aware of the importance of ongoing training, what it should deliver, and how we want to support firms in this area.”
White adds: “I’m looking forward to working with all member firms on the wide variety of training needs they have.”
