Southeast Florida Top Ranked in U.S.

Southeast Florida is an excellent place to raise a family. Top school districts coupled with countless educational and recreational activities ensure children can stay active and engaged year-round.  Florida’s southeast coast is home to some of the nation’s most sought-after beaches and preserves, which are frequented by residents and vacationers year-round due to the region’s mild climate.

Floridians already knew that this is one of the best states to live in and now it has been confirmed by U.S. News & World Report!  Florida ranked No. 10 in U.S. News & World Report’s rankings of best states in the country. It also ranks among the top five states in education and among the top 10 states in the economy and fiscal stability categories.

States were ranked in 71 metrics across eight main categories:

-        Health care                                         - Opportunities

-        Education                                            - Fiscal Stability

-        Economics                                          - Crime

-        Infrastructure                                    - Natural environment 

Health care and education were weighted most heavily in the survey. The great State of Florida ranked 25th in health care, 3rd in education, 8th for economy, 20th for infrastructure, 33rd for opportunity, 8th for fiscal stability, 26th for crime, and 18th for natural environment.
