Florida ranked No. 10 in U.S. News & World Report’s rankings of best states in the country. It also ranks among the top five states in education and among the top 10 states in the economy and fiscal stability categories.

- Economics - Crime
- Infrastructure - Natural environment
Health care and education were weighted most heavily in the survey. The great State of Florida ranked 25th in health care, 3rd in education, 8th for economy, 20th for infrastructure, 33rd for opportunity, 8th for fiscal stability, 26th for crime, and 18th for natural environment.
