United Trust Bank has launched free valuations on residential mortgages for packagers that are part of its Premier Club.

UTB launched its Premier Club in April this year offering semi-exclusive rates and criteria brokers using a packager for specialist mortgage applications.

Under the latest initiative all residential first-charge applications received through Premier Club packagers will get a free valuation via Pure Panel Management, saving customers £300 on average.

In June, UTB increased its maximum loan-to-income criteria to six times income on all residential mortgages up to 70% LTV. 

Director of mortgages Buster Tolfree says: “This is another great benefit for Premier Club members and brokers who use them to support their specialist mortgage applications. 

“With access to semi-exclusive preferential rates, criteria and features, brokers can get even better deals and place even trickier cases for their customers whilst benefiting from the knowledge and experience of packagers who know specialist mortgages inside out.”

He adds: “As the market continues to evolve, with issues like adverse credit affecting more and more people, it’s a sector of the house buying population which is only getting bigger.”
