Feeding South Florida is an inventive direct-service program and network of nonprofit partner agencies. Feeding South Florida has supplied 62 million pounds of food.  The non-profit organization has arranged over 50 million meals last year. Over 700,000 individuals, over 100,000 seniors, 230,000 children have been fed.

Feeding South Florida is the largest, well-organized food bank serving Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, and Monroe Counties. More than 98% of all donations are put back into the local community.  Feeding South Florida is the Florida’s partner of nationwide Feeding America program. They are part of a statewide hunger relief organization in our state.

As the largest food bank in the area, they launched a weekly grocery distribution effort at the Palm Beach Outlets Monday to help those in need of supplies during the coronavirus lockdown.  Cars began lining up at 5 a.m. for the Feeding South Florida distribution effort as volunteers handed out vouchers for the grocery packages. By 9 a.m., when the distribution officially opened, all vouchers had been handed out. The distribution bags contain a week’s supply of fresh produce, milk, eggs and a protein, plus other essentials.
