Dog Days of Summer Broward County

Img

As the dog days of summer wind down and the kids are back at school, it’s the perfect opportunity to allow furry family members to have a special pool, and play day. Not much further south in Broward County there are two splashy water play parks, which are going to the dogs. Both pool parks are normally people-only. For the K-9 events, proof of rabies vaccine and license tag is required. Dogs need to be well-behaved and off-leash.

K9 Water Festivals:

The K9 Water Festivals are planned for 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the following dates: October 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, and 23, at T.Y. Park, 3300 N. Park Road., Hollywood. The Seminole Indian name of this 138.6-acre urban park, Topeekeegee Yugnee, means "meeting or gathering place," appropriate for a park known for its shady picnic areas in Broward County. Playtime is in 50-minute increments.
