As the saying goes, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” Gifted individuals in Southeast Florida recycle castoffs into sensational works of art. See these works of art, created by local artisans, thanks to the “Waste to Wonder” exhibit. The exhibit will run through March 26, 2022. The exhibit is located at Resource Depot GalleRE, 2508 Florida Avenue, in West Palm Beach.  The gallery will be exhibiting local artists that incorporate the reuse of materials into various art forms. The space is intended to showcase what artistically can be done with what most people discard and serves as an educational space to remind people what the imagination can accomplish.

This year’s edition is the Fourth Annual “Waste to Wonder” and is expected to highlight the work of 19 artists, “who transformed found objects from Resource Depot’s ‘Warehouse of Wonder’ that sparked their individual curiosity and created inspiration for new works of art,” according to the website. “These artists, like thousands of teachers, artists, and families, will rely on Resource Depot as a source of diverse materials to enrich, inform, and inspire creativity through ReUSE.”

The GalleRE is usually open Tuesdays through Thursdays and Saturdays. For information, please call 561-882-0090. Admission is free, however, the organizers will gladly accept donations.
