Albatross Lending Group has hired Christian Gugolz as head of sales.

The London-based bridging lender founded in 2020 says Gugolz’s “extensive experience is a huge asset to Albatross’ growth phase” as the business bids to double its lending over the next year.

Gugolz was most recently at MT Finance where he worked for just under eight years, leaving as senior business development manager.

He has also worked for Omega Commercial Solutions and Cobia.

Albatross’ co-founder and director Lewis Casserly called the appointment “a game-changer”.

He adds: “We’re now set to accelerate our growth plans and take Albatross to new heights.”

Gugolz points out: “I fully believe in the company’s vision and am confident in my ability to make a meaningful impact as we enter this exciting new phase of growth.”
