
Furness Building Society has launched a new range of shared ownership mortgages, while NatWest trims home loans and remortgages.
The mutual’s products, available across England and Wales, include options starting at 4.65% for two-year fixed products and 4.48% for five-year fixes. All loans in the range come with £250 cashback.
Other features include:
- Lending up to 95% loan-to-share on new-build homes, including flats.
- 5% builder incentives accepted, with more options for buyers of new-build properties
- Improved affordability assessments for energy-efficient homes, with an increased loan size of up to £24,000.
- Upfront case reviews for non-standard applications
Meanwhile, NatWest has trimmed prices across a range of residential purchase and remortgage home loans by up to 4 basis points.
Highlights include:
- Five-year purchase fixes down by 4bps to 4.29%, with no product fee
- Five-year remortgage fixes down by 3bps to 4.13%, with a £995 product fee and £250 cashback
