Paradigm has appointed Louise Weiss as head of sales and promoted two other team members.

Weiss joins from Bank of Ireland where she worked for almost three years, most recently as national partnership manager.

In her new role she will be responsible for growing Paradigm’s membership across mortgage, protection and compliance services.

Reporting to managing director Richard Howes, Weiss will lead partnership managers and business development directors as the team looks to identify new firms to join the Paradigm group.

She will also help shape adviser engagement strategy, provide market insight to the leadership team and represent the business at a senior level across the industry.

At Bank of Ireland, Weiss worked closely with the intermediary sector, led a partnership with UK Business Mentoring and continues to support the mentoring programme Working in Mortgages.

Paradigm has also promoted two long-standing team members.

Tom Hunt moves into the newly-created role of commercial director from business development director.

In his new role, Hunt will focus on driving commercial performance, strengthening lender and partner relationships and developing the group’s proposition.

Daniel Davenport has also been appointed to the role of business insights and team manager, after almost a decade at the firm.

He will continue to oversee the business performance analytics for Paradigm as well as line-managing a number of individuals involved in commissions, management information and protection support services.
