Connect for Intermediaries has appointed three senior hires to add to its existing leadership team.

The broker network has hired Alan Baldwin as director of compliance, responsible for the oversight of the compliance teams and delivering appointed representative supervision and preparing Consumer Duty papers across the business. He previously worked at Masthaven as complaints manager for just under two years.

Adrian Boxhall will join the firm in the middle of this month as director of operations. His role will be to help drive more efficiencies across the mortgage application process, particularly for the specialist lending and commercial markets. He previously worked at Shawbrook for seven-and-half years in a variety of roles, leaving as underwriting team leader.

Finally, Jim Selley has been promoted to director of training, supporting the growth of knowledge among its advisers.

Connect for Intermediaries chief executive Liz Syms says: “These great new appointments complete our plan for a really strong leadership team to kick off 2023.

“Despite the question about market conditions, we felt it was very important to provide greater strength to these areas of the business so we can deliver on our ambitious growth plans.”
