Happy hour-loving amigos in Palm Beach County mark your calendar for blue agave-drenched libations on National Tequila Day, July 24, 2022. Did you know that tequila dates to 1000 BC? During that time, Indigenous Mexican tribes would grow and ferment agave. As we know it today, tequila will not get produced until the mid-1600s. There are no rules to celebrating National Tequila Day. People should have fun during the holiday but be responsible at the same time. It is essential that safe driving practices are promoted when consuming alcohol, such as Uber.

Here are four day-to-night holiday drinking destinations you can celebrate in Palm Beach County.

City Cellar in The Square will be presenting its spirited Mezcalita ($13), loaded with Espolon blanco tequila, Recuerdo mezcal joven, lime, and fresh agave. Snag a seat at the inside bar and enjoy happy hour from 4-7 p.m. featuring $2 off drinks and select half-priced appetizers and pizza.
