ModaMortgages has appointed George Morgan as business development manager for the Midlands, East Anglia and South Yorkshire regions.
The soon-to-launch specialist buy-to-let lender says Morgan has previously worked in mortgage advisor roles at Create Finance and the Finance Advice Centre.
It adds that he has coached and trained brokers in the past.
Morgan says: “The experience I gained working as a mortgage advisor, including helping brokers with limited company and self-employed customers, will stand me in good stead and I’m looking forward to being able to apply this knowledge to my new role.”
ModaMortgages is owned by Wrexham-based digital bank Chetwood Financial and has made a raft of new appointments ahead of its launch later this year, including tempting industry veteran Alan Cleary out of retirement to chair its mortgage advisory board earlier this month.
The bank also bought CHL Mortgages for Intermediaries for an undisclosed fee in May.
It says that ModaMortgages, like CHL Mortgages for Intermediaries, will be a specialist BTL lender operating exclusively through intermediaries.
