Pepper Money has appointed Nicholas East to its leading second charge sales team, where he takes on the role of business development manager.

East first joined the specialist lender in 2018, initially as a broker account manager within the second charge mortgages team. In the years prior to his promotion, East was operations manager and more recently completions manager.

Commenting on his appointment East said: “After eight years at Pepper, I’ve had the chance to work across different areas of the business and gain a solid understanding of how we deliver value to both brokers and customers.

“It’s been a rewarding journey and I’m looking forward to stepping into a field-based role within the secured loans team to support more brokers.”

He added: “With demand for homeowner loans continuing to grow, this is a key moment for the business and I’m looking forward to contributing to the next phase of developing our proposition to help our broker partners find the right solutions for customers.”
