The Friends of Jupiter Beach invite you to get your pets ready for a spooktacular Halloween pet photo costume contest. Friends of Jupiter Beach's #1 goal is to remind all beach visitors to do all in their power to help keep the beach in Jupiter clean and dog-friendly for decades to come.

It has already begun, so please enter for a chance to win a $100 gift certificate from Tommy Bahama. It is simple, by donating $10 to Friends of Jupiter Beach and submitting your pet's best Halloween costume photo you will be eligible. Every type of pet is welcome to participate!

Friends of Jupiter Beach by the numbers has accomplished the following:

-        12 – Monthly beach cleanups drawing an average of two hundred volunteers per month.

-        29 – Dog bag boxes along a 2 1/2 mile stretch of beach, continuously refilled by Friends of Jupiter Beach.

-        490 – The average number of pounds of garbage removed from the beach at each monthly cleanup.

-        5,000 – Number of Friends of Jupiter Beach, as well as, members, and sponsors.

-        400,000 – Sanitary dog bags dispensed for FREE usage by beach visitors.

- Voting is from October 24th to October 30th.
