Market Financial Solutions has made 16 internal promotions over recent months, with the specialist lender adding it is hiring across 11 new posts as it expands.

Among the changes, Scott Lord, Richard D’Souza and Omkar Hushing have all been promoted from their underwriting manager posts.

Lord is now head of bridging underwriting – direct brokers & clients, D’Souza is head of bridging underwriting – business development & networks, and Hushing is head of buy-to-let & specialist lending underwriting.

The firm, founded in 2006, offers bridging loans and BTL mortgages to intermediaries and clients.

It also says that Zahira Fayyaz, regional sales manager for the South East, and Paul Ratcliffe, regional sales manager for the North, have been promoted from their business development manager roles. They now work alongside Imogen Williams, regional sales manager for the South West.

As part of its growth, Maria Gilbert has been promoted to chief of staff to manage the firm’s increased headcount.

The London-based business is also looking to hire three senior underwriters, three underwriters, two junior underwriters and two assistant underwriters — all spanning both bridging and buy-to-let — and two business development executives as part of its recruitment drive.

Market Financial Solutions chief executive Paresh Raja says: “As a lender, you naturally work to ensure your products are as competitive as possible, and you invest in technology and processes to ensure a streamlined service.

“But there’s no substitute for great people – so, we’re delighted to share the news of some MFS employees moving up the ranks over recent months.

“We always prioritise professional development, promoting from within whenever possible.”
