LDN Finance has established a later life lending unit as the London-based broker expands its business.
The arm will offer the arrangement of later life borrowing and equity release mortgages to customers aged 50 and over.
The division will be led by equity release adviser Darren Johncock, who joined the firm in May from HFMC Wealth, where he worked for 11 years, leaving as a mortgage director.
The broker firm, founded in 2017, points out that its move into equity release loans “will bolster the existing services offered by the brokerage” such as its residential, specialist and protection insurance and private clients businesses.
LDN Finance co-chief executive Anthony Rose says: “By expanding our product offering, we are able to service the needs of clients across all areas of the market.
“Later life lending is a natural growth step for us and we’re thrilled to be launching this new pillar at a time when demand is high.”
LDN Finance later life lending director Johncock adds: “Later life lending is a growing portion of the mortgage sector and I’m proud to be part of the team shaping this expansion.”
