This Saturday, the Town of Jupiter is hosting their Annual 5K Turtle Trot at Ocean Cay Park along A1A for its 30th Anniversary.

The 5K Turtle Trot has been a hometown tradition for many runners as well as for visitors, first time participants, and families. The course is out and back 3.1 miles along the beautiful Jupiter beach. The race begins and ends in Ocean Cay Park where participants will enjoy post-race music, delicious continental breakfast items, complementary massages, and much more. All race finishers will receive a medal and a free t-shirt. Accuchip will manage the timing and scoring for all participants.

Registration has reached capacity for the 5K and is now closed but there is a limited number of spots available for the Kids Fun Run that takes place during the 5K. The popular 5K is limited to 600 participants.

Packets for participants can be picked up on Friday, May 6th at the Jupiter Community Center on Military Trail from 9 am to 6 pm. Packets can also be picked up on Race Day under the registration tents across from the scoring trailer.

Jupiter residents can expect road closures during this time. A1A from Marcinski Road to Ocean Way, Marcinski Road from US1 to A1A and surrounding side streets will be closed during the race. The roads will reopen to all traffic once the last participant finishes the race. Road closures begin at 7:30 am this Saturday morning.
