One Mortgage System has added updates to the Consumer Duty functions on the broker platform.

The customer relationship management hub says upgrades have been added to its Consumer Duty feature since it was first installed in July. The new elements include:

  • Customisable area for bespoke Consumer Duty questions
  • Automated client review tasks
  • Introduction of stage progression times
  • Vulnerability questions
  • Internal Consumer Duty checklist
  • Interactive client survey

One Mortgage System managing director Neal Jannels says: “As a business, we supported all our users in the lead up to the consumer duty deadline and have worked closely with a host of firms to integrate functionality.

“This will help them to not only comply with the new regulations but also enable the collation of relevant information from a compliance and delivery perspective, as well better managing their client records.”

“Consumer Duty will remain a key focal point for intermediary firms and we will continue to carefully assess how we can establish extensive programmes to help our users embrace this important directive going forward.”

The Financial Conduct Authority introduced its wide-ranging consumer-focused guidelines on 31 July, which cover the UK’s 60,000 regulated financial firms, including the mortgage industry’s roughly 100 lenders and 18,000 brokers and broker firms.
