Emap is pleased to announce the appointment of Steven Ray to the new role of group commercial director across Emap’s business to business mortgage brands, Mortgage Strategy and Mortgage Finance Gazette. Steven was previously commercial director on Emap’s Electronics Weekly brand and he will assume his new role from 12 July.

Emap is also pleased to announce the promotion of Rebekah Commane to group editor across Mortgage Strategy and Mortgage Finance Gazette, Gary Adams will continue as deputy editor across both brands, with further editorial and commercial appointments expected to be announced soon.

Mortgage Strategy was purchased by Emap from Centaur Media in 2019 and the time is now right to bring the two B2B mortgage brands together under the same editorial and commercial leaderships. The two brands enjoy strong reputations for editorial independence and excellence but can now benefit from new editorial and commercial synergies across their key audiences.

With Mortgage Strategy and MFG now both owned by Emap, it made sense that the two come together under one team, with some new faces joining us, to ensure these distinguished brands continue to thrive in this great sector. I would also like to thank Dan Miller and Jo Atkin for all of their great work on MFG over the years.”
