The Stafford Railway Building Society has appointed Alison Tattersall and Ian Craig as new non-executive directors.

Tattersall spent 12 years at Barclays Group, where she most recently worked as marketing director for corporate banking.

In addition to this she is a trustee for the People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals.

Craig recently retired as divisional director at Nationwide, which he joined in 2015.

Before that, Craig worked at Barclays as managing director for UK retail for two years after serving a seven year stint at Bank of America as chief information and operations officer.

They have been brought in to add more financial services experience and IT, digital and technology experience, respectively.

Stafford Railway chair Joanne Hindle comments on her two new hires: “Their strong financial services backgrounds and expertise will be of vital importance and further benefits the society in its strategic direction and priorities.”
