At Bend Premier, we are always on the hunt for the next best bite in Bend, and today, we found an absolute gem. Tucked away in the back side of the popular Box Factory above The Old Mill, Valentine’s Deli does have some “Seriously Good Sandwiches.”

When it comes to vegetarian options, we always look for big flavor and an experience that makes you forget there is no meat. The Sierra sandwich at Valentine’s Deli did just that. Each bite was an explosion of flavor and had me going back for more. This sandwich was toasted to perfection, giving a nice aromatic experience before even taking a bite. Featuring sun dried tomatoes, provolone, black olives, pepperoncini, arugula, lettuce, onion, tomato and red wine vinaigrette, this sandwich was packed with so many good flavors that married perfectly. We would highly recommend this sandwich to veggie and meat lovers alike.

Our thoughts on the Hot Italian at Valentines Deli? A must. Great flavors between the meats, toppings, and sauces, and a sparrow hoagie to tie it all together in taste-bud-tingling bliss. It is fair to mention that this is a large sandwich, quite easy to share with a friend, and it comes in the shape of a heart—how cute! Wade (The Owner) and his family have done an exceptional job designing a menu that incorporates classics, and modern variations to suit any deli sandwich eater’s needs!

The atmosphere is quaint, clean, and inviting. The industrial space inside reminds us of a traditional New York deli and the front patio seating makes a great option for dining with Fido as well! Make sure to call ahead for orders if you do not want to wait as this place gets packed very quickly (obviously a very good sign of its quality and local following). 10/10 would recommend and we will absolutely be back soon!
