BM Solutions is launching a new online mortgage application system in the coming months.

The specialist lender advises that, with immediate effect, all new mortgage offers for buy-to-let purchase, remortgage and let-to-buy applications submitted using the One Minute Mortgage system will carry a fixed completion date of Friday 23 April 2021. The lender says this is to ensure a smooth transition between systems.

There is no change to product transfer or further advance completion dates; the One Minute Mortgage system will continue to apply to these for now.

If you have an application which is unlikely to complete by Friday 23 April 2021, the lender advises brokers to speak to their BDM about getting registered for BM Solutions Online.

The system change will bring some familiarity of systems between Halifax and BM Solutions as well as enabling integrated document upload without leaving the system; improved case tracking/ email updates providing important milestone and valuation updates; and alternative lending proposals at decision stage and an online appeals process, along with other benefits.
