Juno Beach is home to the Loggerhead Marinelife Center, a research and rehabilitation center for endangered and injured sea turtles. Several times a day from March to October, the center monitors the beaches for sea turtle nests during nesting season.

The beaches of Juno Beach and Jupiter are one of the most populated sea turtle nesting spots in the world. Every year, thousands of sea turtles lay their eggs on the sand. Greens, loggerheads, and leatherback nests are most often found along the 9.5 miles of the sandy shoreline that they center monitors. Its important to note that if a sea turtle nest is found, to not disturb the nest, simply observe from a distance.

Several times a day, the center hosts a Public Guided Tour for the public to go and visit the sea turtles currently housed in the center. The center houses the sea turtles and nurses them back to health before releasing them back into the ocean.

The Public Guided Tour is offered daily and gives the public and up-close look at the outdoor sea turtle hospital. During the tour, you will learn about the turtles and the staff will be there to answer all your questions. The tours last approximately one hour and cost $10 dollars for adults and $5 dollars for children under 8.
