Newcastle for Intermediaries has upgraded its broker mortgage platform, which it says will make mortgage applications quicker and easier.
It says the new hub streamlines the home loan process from decisions-in-principle to full mortgage applications, adding that it simplifies document uploading and improves case progress tracking.
Newcastle Building Society’s broker-only arm adds that adviser’s will also be able edit existing applications without having to duplicate work as well as include solicitor details during applications. The platform is directly integrated to the lender’s conveyancing panel manager.
The hub allows brokers to list additional support requirements a client may need, in light of Consumer Duty requirements for vulnerable customers
The system was built by the mutual’s technology unit Newcastle Strategic Solutions.
