London Credit has appointed Sophie Jones-Trutwein as business development manager for the Midlands.

The appointment is part of the bridging and development lender’s expansion of its regional footprint across the country.

Jones-Trutwein joins from Allica Bank, where she spent three years as central business development manager, supporting brokers with commercial lending solutions for SME clients.

Previous to this she held a role at Yorkshire Building Society, working across intermediary and customer-facing channels.

Based in the West Midlands, Jones-Trutwein will be the dedicated point of contact for brokers in the region, supporting access to London Credit’s short-term bridging and development finance products.

Her appointment forms part of the lender’s broader focus on increasing broker access and expanding its footprint outside London and the South East.

Commenting on her appointment Jones-Trutwein said: “London Credit has built a strong name for itself in the bridging space, and I’m looking forward to bringing that proposition to brokers across the Midlands. It’s great to be joining a lender that prioritises relationships and gets deals done without unnecessary delays.”
