The 4th of July, also known as Independence Day, celebrates the passage of the Declaration of Independence. The American colonies wanted their freedom from Great Britain, and on 2 July 1776, the Continental Congress voted for that independence. The vote passed; however, it wasn’t until two days later, on the 4th of July, that the Declaration of Independence was revised and signed. Enjoy the day!

Fourth on Flagler festivities, including fireworks, is 6:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. July 4, 2022, on the waterfront, 100 North Clematis Street, West Palm Beach.

Live entertainment, rides, food vendors, fireworks, and fun for kids are included in festivities 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. July 4, 2022, at Spanish River Athletic Facility, 1000 NW Spanish River Boulevard, Boca Raton. No personal fireworks, alcohol, or pets. Bring your own blankets and chairs. Free parking is offered at Boca Raton Innovation Campus on Broken Sound Boulevard.
