This upcoming Sunday is a day to indulge in your favorite ice cream flavors and sundaes to celebrate National Ice Cream Day. National Ice Cream Day has been celebrated since 1984, when President Reagan declared the third Sunday of July as National Ice Cream Day and he also declared the month of July as National Ice Cream Month.

Sunday’s weather is expected to be in the high 80’s which makes it a perfect summer day to head out to one of your favorite local ice cream shops to celebrate the day. Many ice cream shops and ice cream chains are giving away free ice cream and free treats to celebrate National Ice Cream Day.
