This Wednesday, March 17th is St. Patrick’s Day. A day honored for the patron saint of Ireland and is celebrated with cultural and religious celebrations around the world. The holiday has evolved into a giant celebration filled with parades, music, dancing, special foods, drinking, shamrocks, and a lot of green.
Downtown Abacoa is planning on transforming into the ultimate St. Patrick’s Day Block Party this Wednesday afternoon. The fun begins at 4 pm and includes live music, authentic Irish food, entertainment, kid’s activities, food and drinks specials and much more.
The Roger Dean Stadium located in Downtown Abacoa area is hosting a Spring Training game this Wednesday afternoon before the Block Party. The Miami Marlins will be playing the New York Mets at 1 pm. Gate opens for the game at 11 am.
Nearby the Downtown Palm Beach Gardens is hosting their St. Patrick’s Day Scavenger Hunt. Search for lucky gold and green coins located around the property or in retail stores throughout the outdoor shopping and lifestyle center. Bring your lucky coins to the Yard House to redeem a free soft drink or free pint of domestic or house beer. The scavenger hunt ends this Wednesday, March 17th.
